Kian Tavakoli

Master Winemaker
Earned his Viticulture degree from U.C. Davis in Northern California as well as a degree in genetics.

Kian’s winemaking experience includes 4 years at Opus One perfecting his cabernet winemaking and 9 years at Clos Du Val where he headed up their highly-acclaimed reserve bottling.

His education, experience, personality and his particularly his passion for creating and producing great California Cabs makes him the ideal winemaker for PerryMoore wines.

Michael Zitzlaff

Consulting Winemaker
Michael oversaw all winemaking responsibilities at his family’s winery; Oakridge Estate located in the Yarra Valley, one hour East of Melbourne, Australia. 

His wines have been recognized internationally and received awards such as “Warren Winiarski – Stag’s Leap Trophy” for “Best Cabernet Sauvignon of Show” and “The Wolf Blass Trophy” for “Best Australian Red Wine of Show” at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.

Michael initiated and managed an IPO in Oakridge Vineyards Limited where he was Chairman and CEO. His expertise in red wine makes him a valuable consultant for PerryMoore wines.

Jeff Fink

Pinot Noir Winemaker
Since 1997 Jeff has been dedicated to producing the finest Pinot Noir from top Central Coast growers and vineyard designate from vineyards such as Bien Nacido, Dierberg, and Pisoni. His passion and commitment for making great Pinot Noirs is the reason he is part of the PerryMoore team.
